This blog has been set up as an information tool for those making, or intending to make Hijrah overseas. These online journals are meant to share my and my family’s personal experiences while trying to make Hijrah to the land of the Muslims. This blog is not meant to be used for the issuing of religious verdicts. Its purpose is merely to give a westerner’s perspective and views of daily life in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the city of Jeddah. Also, it is meant as on online diary to share thoughts while trying to adjust to this new environment and way of life.
